Before we went there I tripple-checked with the reception desk if and what kind of COVID-19 safety measures are taken. I was assured there is more that enough distance between the umbrellas on the beach. After paying 35LEV for 2sunbeds and an umbrella a very rude beach staff guy give us an umbrella that was in the second row( the place was very crowded as in the first and third raws everything was occupied). I kindly asked if we can get another unberella, as I saw many free ones(7-8). It was expained in a very rude way that this is what we can get. I insisted to get an umbrella in not so populated area of the beach, adding that I am very concerned of the current global pandemic and I mentioned that a close relative of mine is in hospital infected with COVID-19! The beach staff guy asked me rudely “where is your mask, if you are afraid?”(wearing a mask at that time is mandatory only in closed spaces- rooms, halls, etc.). After replying that I got mine, but this is none of his business I continued to insist to get another umbrella, as I am paying more than enough! In the end we got another umbrella, but the rudeness of the guy continued, as he mentioned that “if we are afraid of the COVID-19 we should stay home”. I am more than disappointed by the service I got in this widely advertised complex! I would like to ask the management the following questions: Is the rudeness the new standard for attracting tourists? How come a request for an umbrella in not so populated part of the beach IN TIMES OF GLOBAL PANDEMIC is something extraordinary? I should mention that previous years the service there was good, thats why we came back, as we hoped that in such superior place one already took care of every small detail! However, I refuse to accept that such a behavior is normal! Neither I, nor my family or friends will visit this place again! Tip: if you want just to enjoy the beach- there is a FREE ZONE right next to the paid umbrellas. You can go there without having to deal...

Probably the most beautiful beach in Balchik area. It's a small gulf surounded by high clifs. The sea is usually calm and when it's windy is actually ok on the beach and you still can swim. I love that rules are strict and they don.t accept people more than available sun beds. Maybe 200 people in total. Which is perfect! It.s a quite beach. If you like loud ones, just go somewhere else. There is no loud music on this beach. You can enjoy the sound of waves, laughs, indistinguishable chats. It.s more like a virgin beach but same time all the comfort and benefits of a properly managed beach. The restaurant is awesome. Not better than Balchik's Mistral, but pretty close. I recommend the sea food. Mussels are very good, shrimps also, but octopus is just great. Order just Bulgarian wines and you are in for a surprise. They are so good, eapecialy the viogneer from Kapatovo. The personeel is polite, actually kind and helpful. The car driver that takes you to the beach (which my daugther calls The Ninja Driver!... just hold on tight:)), the big guys from entrance and the personeel from restaurant, everyone is there to help you. Ofcourse, have some patience - you.re in vacation, enjoy it:). I definitelly recommend Bendida. It.s great for couples, with or without kids. And I am sure I will ger back here next year.

Best...

Beach was great, as well as the beach staff , BUT the restaurant that we ate was terrible and overpriced. Don't get me wrong , we accept to pay highly priced food, as we eat outdoors often and love to visit nice places, but we expect great food and friendly staff. However , we did not get that , in return, we met staff members who were only caring about the big group of people they were servung at that time in the restaurant, and they rarely came to our table. When we finally managed to order , the waitress was so unpolite, and we didn't feel welcome at all. To the question - what's in that dish, she simply answers, "I don't know.." and looks away.. tall curly hair girl, and in a way, we are wasting her otherwise precious time.. Food was bland and not poor in flavours, absolutely no go.. We spent 50lv for an umbrella and 170lv at the restaurant. In conclusion, it is a great beach and one of the worse restaurant...

The beach is difficult to access and in general not very tidy. The reed umbrellas are set low and one can easily hurt themselves by scratching face or eyes on the sharp stalks at the umbrella rims. Price for one umbrella set is 50 bgn or 25 eur, which is ridiculous as it does not include any consumption, even a simple bottle of mineral water. The see is muddy and milky, water is not transparent and the sand has scattered stones around, which could have been cleaned and removed by the beach management given the price set. The restaurant is overpriced and it takes quite a time to be served. In summary, not worth the money.

Beach has amaizing water, seems like in Greece. (part of Thraccian Cliff Resort - you go with your car up to the end of the resort, from there it is a shuttle bus provided free of charge). Problem is with sunbeds (directly on sand, some wooden support are provided). Umbrelas are a little bit low, you can hurt yourself if you are not paying attention. Quite expensive: 40 BGN for 1 set (2 sunbeds + towels + umbrela) Very expensive, everything you order as food or drink: 10 BGN - 1 small beer, 8 BGN - 1 Frappe, 6 BGN - 1 small water/soda, 27 BGN - 1 Liter Lemonade, 22 BGN mussels, 25-40 BGN 1 dish.
