Dokuzak Waterfall — Attraction in Malko Tarnovo

Beautiful place, very energizing waterfall, small but cute and picturesque. You can take a dip but water is freezing. Great to bring your own food and do picnic. You can cross the river above the waterfall and climb a bit around in the forest. Very relaxing location. There are several benches with tables and one bigger hut where you can grill. There was a toilet but was locked and could not be used. There are a lot of signs requesting to keep clean which is great, but there is only one garbage bin that is a bit far on the main road. Nice place to visit! We took the tour on the Jeeps to get there, beautiful views. You can get some cat food as there is a lot of them very very hungry, there is no houses around so they have to eat whatever they find. Plus get the bottle of water - empty one, if you want to fill up yourself the clean water straight from there, as the legend i think says that if you drink that water you will be forever young. I don't know if they made this up, but why...

WOW! If you are in the area, this is really worth a visit. Very Instaworthy and feels magical.

The area makes you feel very relaxed and close to nature.

It literally is just off the road, so no need for hiking boots, you just get out of the car and 1 minute later you are at the waterfall.

Awesome place to have a small BBQ with friends or family while taking some pictures at the waterfall.
