August 29-30, Symphony of ecstasy and terror (101 tutorial below review): Ecstasy: This waterpark in theory deserves to be 5 stars no questions asked: quite a big amount of waterslides and some unique, however, the 32 or similiar number of waterslides available and the term” biggest number of available slides in Europe” is not that impressive since many are identical elsewhere or some have only minor differences compared to others found at the same nessebar waterpark. All in all, in the end it is an amazing experience and to fully embrace it takes 2 full days. The prices are good, food prices are also decent given the portions. The terror: Humans. "I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it." Many humans in a limited space cause a problem for such an establishment: queues. The queues were horrible, cant imagine weekend or friday. For the best attractions get ready to hear f screaming/pushing for 1 hour or more while being blasted with UV rays by the sun. While they are better at some attractions which have more than 1-2 people starts, majority of the best ones will have queues. There are no electronical indicators about the queue wait time its luck how much you will get to enjoy your purchase.
Majority of people were nice and understanding, some visitors and workers were disgusting. Firstly, Prepare to either defend your time or give it away to pea brain sized mostly male boys and teenagers who try to skip queues with excuses like “ not this ride” or “my father is filming right now” or gaslighting that they were in the line or dont understand that there is a queue. once a pretty face girl who tried charming with her looks and then the classic line “ i am vip, i know the owner, let me through”. The workers do not do anything about this. The workers do not wear name tags, so while majority were still nice or neutral, a minority of them feel safe to do rubbish: i saw some lifeguards letting their friends skip the queue, i saw some flirt with females and hold up the queue/touch them to”push them” on the slide, even though they never touch the males. Finally, one particular life guard, a old bald man (no name tag, cant describe this vile person any other way) at the dragero slide questioned my wifes age and then threw a remark” you look like 12” to protect his ego that he was wrong in his suspicion(although its quite a longshot to think 12 when she is 23). Ask the age and either demand proof or shut up, nobody needs to hear comments about their appearance.
Is it worth it? Yes, but with every joy will come pain and therefore i believe this waterpark should be at 3,5-4,0 range and does not deserve 4,5 where it is right now, so i rate it 1*.
101 tutorial: arrive early, free car parking gets overcrowded by 11:00. Immediately get in, deposit money on right, more right get unisex outside locker(our preference) or men/female seperated lockers, get a safe for your valuables (optional, we did it), visit space shuttle ride as it is the most popular, has only 1-2 people start and the ride is 60-90 seconds, the queue will clog up fast. We waited 1-2 hours,it is mediocre in our opinion, best are tsunami/cobra/raft slamami(white one with rafts) (we are adrenaline junkies, for casuals cannot recommend much, most have small queues). Number 1 rule: always go where there are smaller queues. Queues form randomly and some great rides like the raft slalami white one had no queue at start and then overflooded for the rest of the stay, so value your time and find where people aint queing, queues do not mean better rides every time, it is sometimes just random. Go for rides with more than 1-2 people starts when it is really big and just enjoy, do not waste time at the queues until they get smaller. Go to cobra when they are launching 2-4 people, do not wait when they only have 1 out of 2 starts...
Read moreMy partner and I had an incredibly upsetting experience at Aqua Paradise Nessebar on July 7th, 2025, which completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun and exciting day out. What happened raised serious concerns about food safety, hygiene, and staff professionalism inside the park.
We purchased two wraps (döners) from a food stall inside the park. Halfway through eating, we realized the chicken inside was raw — visibly pink and dangerously undercooked. At that point, we had already consumed a large portion.
When we confronted the cook, who was also the kitchen manager, he denied that the food was raw, took the contaminated wrap and threw it in the bin, refusing us a refund because it had already been bitten. This was shocking — basic food safety was completely ignored.
We were initially refunded for only one wrap despite both being contaminated. After further discussion and showing our receipt, we were finally given a full refund.
The situation escalated quickly as multiple staff members ganged up on us, saying things like “this has never happened before” — even though a security guard told us it actually had happened before. We were accused of trying to “start a scandal” and treated with sarcasm and rudeness while trying to report a very serious food issue.
To make things even more outrageous, the kitchen manager claimed:
"Bulgarian chicken doesn't have salmonella." This is not only completely false, but an incredibly dangerous mindset for someone serving food to the public.
When we tried to film the raw chicken as evidence, security staff attempted to intimidate us into deleting the video, saying filming was not allowed. We explained that without evidence, no one would believe us. The guard backed off, but the experience was deeply unsettling.
We also witnessed shocking hygiene practices:
None of the food prep staff wore hairnets.
The cook was wearing only one glove, and never changed it.
We saw him wipe sweat from his face, blow his nose into a tissue, and wipe down the counter with the same tissue.
This all happened in full view of customers, while he continued preparing food.
Amidst all of this, Tanya, the park manager, was the one professional voice of reason. She took the time to listen, reviewed our video footage, confirmed the chicken looked raw, apologized sincerely, and offered us a full refund for our park tickets.
We really appreciated her professionalism — she was calm, respectful, and understanding, and made us feel heard after everything we went through.
Unfortunately, by the time this ordeal was over, our entire day was ruined. We had only managed to go on 4 rides, and we were emotionally drained and upset. We had come to Aqua Paradise specifically to try the Giant Snake, which was the main reason we chose this park. Because of everything that happened, we left without getting to enjoy it.
This was a truly disturbing experience, especially in a family-friendly environment. There were multiple points of failure:
Raw food served
Dangerous misinformation
Shocking hygiene practices
Rude and defensive staff
Attempts to silence our complaint
Despite the manager’s efforts to resolve things, the day was completely ruined. We left feeling shaken, disappointed, and honestly a bit disgusted. We cannot recommend this park unless serious...
Read moreThe place is definitely overrated !!! We decided to use because of the description of the attractions. Unfortunately on arrival a very big disappointment. Justification: To begin with - disappointment with the number of attractions; definitely smaller area than it appears from the descriptions and online ads. Very poor value to the money: if at this price you use half of the attractions once then you are very lucky (crowds of people, hundreds of people eager for the slides which results in waiting an average of 45-60 minutes for one attraction !!!!). Dirt, filth and stench in the toilets (no toilet paper) and at the slides themselves (slime and fungus on the floors after a few hours; musty stench and dirt at the entrance to the slides - I'm sure there has been no cleaning since the beginning of this place). Lifeguards don't know what's going on; they are useless and very unkind - after using one children's attraction four times, the fifth time you find out that the child can't go down because it's too small - conclusion: daughter shrunk during the day (I don't even know by how many centimeters). Lifeguards cling to insignificant issues, and do not pay any attention to people pushing in line (which, with the long waiting time, is quite annoying - we have to pay attention ourselves). Chaos and pushing when taking inflatable pontoons for slides - employees do not grasp the matter at all. All employees are unsympathetic, dissatisfaction with customers is common here. Food prices overestimated relative to their value - we ate better in a good restaurant in Sunny Beach. In children's pools water about 5 deg. - definitely colder than in others. Summary: form over substance, management focused on fast and big money, crowds, bang, chaos and filth. Cognitive dissonance - the place is overrated, and customers do not receive adequate value for the service purchased. I do not recommend, avoid from afar - it is definitely more beneficial to walk around the old town of Nessebar, buy good wine, lunch in a restaurant and an afternoon swim on the southern coast of the old town. A waste of money & time – We will definitely not...
