Best activity of the holiday so far, place is really amazing.
We were picked up by free shuttle bus at 3pm from right outside our hotel (first stop) and it left on time and stopped at every scheduled stop - took about 30 minutes. We paid on entry and was correctly charged for 3 adults and 1 child (my youngest is 10 but does look older as she is big for her age!!) for entry and camel ride, I asked to buy a pony ride however they did advise it would be up to the handler if my daughter would be able to (that's fair enough).
The handler of the camels is amazing, he comes from Egypt and has good English and he is friendly and helped reassure my daughters that the camels are friendly and safe to feed them carrots from the mouth!! He also answers any questions you may have about the camels (I learned what the dulla is from him!!).
The animals are so friendly and the baby goats will come out and jump about you plus you can go into the rabbits cage. We bought loads of extra feed tubs for 1.5 lev each however we had also brought in apples, carrots and cabbage/lettuce and we were allowed to feed the animals with this but just carrots for the camels.
The camel ride was fun and my daughter was able to ride the pony after checking with the handler. They take lots of pictures and you can check if you like any at the end and buy them for 8 lev each which is decent enough price.
We had something to eat and it was 10 lev for chicken nuggets and chips and 3 lev for a cola which is reasonably priced.
The shuttle bus waited for us to get our pictures printed and was much quicker on way back as took us direct to our stop (we all got on Hotel Elfir stop). The 3pm shuttle bus there leaves at 5:45pm to go back which gives you about 2 hours 15 min in park and that was plenty of time for us, went real quick!!
The staff are friendly and I would return if we come back to Sunny Beach - a definite activity, especially for anyone with...
Read moreCamel Park is a nice way to spend 2-3 hrs. We took a taxi from Sunny Beach 30 Lev each way,we used BG Taxi took us 15-20 mins because of traffic but bar that it was a pleasant ride. The Camel Park is smallish but it is growing. Upon entrance 22 Lev (adult) you are given a tub of food, you can feed it to the animals. The first thing you are greeted with is a smile from one of the helpers who then proceeds to find out what country you're from? They then talked about the camels and how to feed them and other animals. If you wanted? you can have a Camel ride (extra cost) the park has various animals, Camels,Donkeys,Alpacas, rabbits, ponies and different birds. Overall it was a great experience interacting with the animals. I would go again with my grandchildren next time! Well Done you are doing something that's...
