Babsko Praskalo Waterfall — Attraction in Pavel Bania

A beautiful area.. We couldn't find a crossing point.. We followed the river for approximately an hour before giving up and walking back towards Triglav Hut area. Our walk along the river was beautiful but the terrain not easy.

The wild animals were unaware of our presence due to the sound of the rushing river hiding our sounds. Maybe, care is needed, to ensure one doesn't frighten any large animals at close range.

We entered the area from the Triglav Hut direction. I'm not sure if this route is open or closed, because I understand very little Bulgarian when reading signs. Also Triglav Hut didn't look open or inviting, so we continued past it. Any detailed and up to date information will be appreciated, as I'm hoping to visit again in the near future.. Information could include routes, water points, safety and opening times of mountain huts etc.

Водопадът се намира по река Бабска, която пролетно време е силно пълноводна и пътеката тръгваща към него от хижа Триглав е затворена. Ние го посетихме през есента, когато реката беше маловодна и бе лесно да се пресече по камъните. След като пресечете реката, веднага след нея започват стълби, които се изкачват нагоре и по пътека вдясно може да се стигне до площадка на отсрещните скали, от които има много добър изглед към водопада. Имайте предвид, че пътеката не е поддържана, табелите са паднали или не се четат. На всеки 200-300 метра имаше изпражнения на мечки, така че имайте едно наум и решите ли въобще да ходите натам, вдигайте много шум, за да предупреждавате евентуални животни за своето появяване.
