Beautiful place, showing the history of the region. Well maintained and organized. There are tours with a guide every half an hour. There is a free parking on the side of the building. The exhibits are also handicap accessible. The price to get in is reasonable, there is additional fee, which must be paid if you would like to take pictures on the third floor. It is a must place for anyone who visits Pleven and indeed...

The painting itself is meticulously detailed, with hundreds of soldiers locked in fierce battle, and columns of reinforcements coming from all directions, thousands strong. Everything is recreated in meticulous detail, down to the buildings of the then small town of Pleven down the hill. It’s indeed...
