To all motorcycle riders out there - this is a must visit place! Go and see it. The road is concrete, not tarmac. It is in deteriorating condition and it is divided in two sections. The first one is up until the small pavilion for the security personnel. This part is way better than the one to the Dam itself. It is on lower altitude and this is why the condition of the road is better. The second one is from the guard house to the Dam itself. The road is again concrete and die to the snow and the melting it is in bad condition. Where weather is gathering it is practically missing. I could say it is very off-road and if you are riding heavy enduro motorcycle it will be a challenge. But all the efforts will be rewarded at the top! There is a road to the other reservoir - Karagyol. The road is a bit better. Also be advised that the road is very narrow and sometimes people with cars are going up or down.
