This waterfall was a great surprise! We were at a swimming pool in Separeva Bania and I overheard some conversations about it. Since the pool was overcrowded I easily convinced some of my friends to go to the waterfall. They were with their baby boy (11 month old) and we hoped to be able to carry the baby all the way up. It was no more than 10min average climb through a beautiful forest path. At the end of which a comfortable wooden bench was waiting for us. This distance and view at the waterfall are perfect to sit for a while and admire the natural calmness of the sight and sound of the falling water. I strongly recommend it if...

Amazingly beautiful nature creation. The 2-stage fall is quite spectacular when water abundant. I have seen it in all seasons and water quantity because it is one of my favourite places - when I need to see something beautiful, Goritsa is always an option, close to Sofia by car (1-hour drive) plus 10-minutes walk. The legend about the young lady Goritsa is quite tragic, but interesting, makes the place even more attractive. In dry conditions you may climb down to the river and stand below the lower portion of...

I walked an ecopath earlier that I really recommend, especially if you’re looking for something easy and enjoyable. The path leads to Ovcharski Waterfall, which is absolutely beautiful—it's about 39 meters tall and definitely worth seeing in person.

The trail itself is simple and well-marked, not difficult at all. It’s easy to reach and takes around 7 minutes of walking to get to the waterfall. It’s also a great option for families with kids or even elderly people—very manageable and not too...

A lovely short walk to a viewing platform for a waterfall. It's 10 minutes from the buildings at the end of the dirt road (not much space for parking) and the path follows the fence on the outside of the water works. Then 100 steps, a small bridge and a wet scramble up some rocks by a broken fence. You can't get close without going into the water works. My 3 year old loved all the pipes and the water race/run at the bottom.
