Ski And Snowboard Centre "Kartola" — Attraction in Smolian

The place is very suitable for beginners (of any age), both learning ski or snowboarding. It is also quite a nice place to bring your kids for sleigh runs. It is however rather not as good for advanced skiers due to the short length of the ski slope (it is also not as steep).

There's a platter ski lift, though I myself didn't have a great experience with it. The staff had to constantly stop it and fix it, because of small children not knowing how to use it and constantly trying to kill themselves.

Still, it's an inexpensive place and I would recommend for beginners. Also, a very nice hut, called Momchil Yunak is nearby - about 2.5 kilometers. It's good for some short hiking...

Perfect place for beginners. Ski teachers are available upon request. Ski rental service at the spot. Nice little cafeteria serving hot food and drinks, beer as well. Free parking area. Slopes are 2, really short - approximately 250m but again this is for beginners only. Прекрасно място за ски за начинаещи, до пистата има заведение предлагащо храна и напитки на прилични цени, има и ски гардероб от където могат да се вземат ски под наем и карта за ски влека! Ако удължат трасето на пистата и влека ще бъде подходящ център и за скиори...
