I'll begin with the hike to the cave because that definitely caught us by surprise. Once you park you begin walking on a constant uphill gravel path for a good kilometer and a half. Then you'll be "greeted" by 190 stairs upwards! Inside the cave you got another 280 stairs!!! Brace yourselves lol. Something to keep in mind if you're with young kids or elderlies. I believe 7yr old is the youngest allowed in the cave. There's a guided tour in Bulgarian only (hence the 4*) every round hour, last tour is at 4pm. Temp inside the cave is regularly 10°C\50°F and damp. It takes about 45 minutes total and you get out from where you entered. The cave is beautiful with a lot of different formations of stalagmites and stalactites. The crystal waterfall at the end is absolutely gorgeous, glitter paradise 😃. A minimum of 4 people is required for a tour or you pay 30lv total. 8lv adults, 5lv seniors, 4lv students. Bathrooms and souvenirs available at the parking lot area only.

Exploring the cave was an adventure, especially navigating the steep climb. However, what impressed most was how easy it was to descend afterward. Nicely made stairs with sturdy rails made the journey back a breeze, emphasizing safety and suitability for children. The well-thought-out infrastructure ensured that even the steepest parts were manageable for all ages, providing peace of mind for families exploring together. Such attention to safety enhances the overall experience, allowing visitors to focus on the thrill of adventure without worrying about potential hazards. It's a testament to the cave's accessibility and thoughtful design, making it an ideal destination for families seeking both excitement and peace of mind in their explorations.

Uhlovitsa is an old cave with beautiful coral-like stone shapes formed when the walls of the cave were still submerged years ago. The walk inside the cave is not that long, only about 300 meters, however the path keeps going up and down and there are most, slippery sections throughout. At the end of the walk, you are greeted by a marvelous marble waterfall. To get to the cave from the parking lot takes about 20 minutes. You have to trek up a steep path, followed by a lot of stairs.

Really magical cave. At the end of the tourist tour there is a stunning calcite waterfall. You can park your car at the parking lot and then you need to climb to the entrance. The first part of the path is wide with small stones. It takes around 20 minutes. The second part are 190 steps that take you to the entrance. Even my 4 y.o. was able to go on its own. Inside the cave there are also 280 steps to be taken in and out. Entrance during weekends is every round hour.

Great place.Worth visiting! First there are several things you need to consider: after you park your car you need to be prepared for 15-20 minutes steep climb through rocky path; second challenge climbing approximately 200 steps; and finally you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the mountain and seeing the place you have parked your car you will realize what you have accomplished. From that point your journey of exploring the cave has began. Enjoy!!!
