This is literally ancient history in its full capacity! The gentleman who welcomed us at the museum of The Deultum was very friendly, super knowledgeable, and he answered all our questions. It's sad that there's so little funding for the work the archeologists are doing. It's work that's not appreciated enough, and I personally think their efforts are taken for granted. Fees to visit the place are affordable, and I wish parents, schools, colleges would bring young kids more often here so a new generation of more curious and appreciative youngsters could be brought up. The lady who showed us around the artifacts was a historian herself and took her time to bring those findings back to life in our imaginations.
