Beautiful and adventurous. Had a great hike and saw many cool things. Some large griffins i couldn't identify, weasels, a pack of feral dogs, lots of bear tracks and bear dung (luckily not the bear though) and tons of berries. I could have lived off raspberries, blueberries and elderberries for weeks. The water was clear and drinkable and my feet at the end of the hike were sore and full of blisters. But it was absolutely worth it!

We went to Eco trail white river ‘Бяла река’ and I must say it’s one the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. Waterfalls, flexy bridges, forests, rivers, streams, free parking, toilets, bbq/picnic areas, restaurants. The only shortfall is getting there. It’s almost 3km of off road rocks and huge potholes to get through but it’s worth it!!!

Spent a few days here camping with our van. Beautiful national park and very quiet out of season. Roads are variable condition but driveable. Mountain passes are really fun. Shipka pass and Troyan pass are great fun to drive. Don't forget to check out the Buzludzha monument!

Amazing place for hiking - experienced or beginners. A lot of options to combine nearby. Close to the capital city. Friendly people. Great to take an intensive walk in the sunshine with breathtaking views and then dive into the mineral water hot springs - priceless!

An amazing vantage point and a delightful location that leaves a lasting impression. It is well worth taking the journey there. (One of my favourite places in Bulgaria, there's no way around it..)

Awesome hikes that were easily accessed from Dobrila Hut. I would recommending going to lift Sopot and getting the chairlift up to save time. Also be aware of bears in the surrounding region.
