Central Balkan National Park — Attraction in Troian

Breathtaking place with loads of beautiful spots for photos - of the mountains or the towns underneath. The paths go over open hills and through cool woods, there are many perfect spots for picnic, or just lying in the sun. It's ideal even for a one day trip from Sofia. There are signs (in Bulgarian and in English) and clearly visible tourist marking showing the way to huts, towns, and villages. The terrain is diverse which makes the hike vary in terms of physical toughness - it might be a challenge for novice hikers at times, but a piece of cake for more experienced mountain enthusiasts. Very beautiful nature. Be careful what road you take and don't try it alone or without consulting with a local because we took the wild road and we stumbled to a baby bear witch was crying for its mother and we run away ass soon as possible because if the mother comes it would attack us . There are wolves to! Otherwise it was worth it and very good exercise in the spring :) Be prepared for steep slopes and hard terrain in a beautiful mountain wit small rivers allot of green , flowers, herbs,...

Beautiful and adventurous. Had a great hike and saw many cool things. Some large griffins i couldn't identify, weasels, a pack of feral dogs, lots of bear tracks and bear dung (luckily not the bear though) and tons of berries.
