Mémorial Thomas Sankara — Attraction in Centre

Mausoleum and Memorial dedicated to the assassination of Thomas Sankara and his 12 comrades in October 1987, that actually happened on the very premises.

It's just part 1 of a group of memorials planned (the only one finished so far). The plan is to build a library and a tower with an exhibition inside.
