Within two hours of drive from Phnom Penh, this temple from the 10th to 11th centuries is just amazing. There are several ways to climb up, it might take time but it is worth every single step. There are stalls around the temple and a monastery as well. The view is awesome and auspicious to photoshooting Visit is free

Also called Phnom Chisor. The ruins are similar to Angkor Wat but waaay smaller. Legend said that this is the old Capital City of Khmer Kingdom, before moved to Phnom Penh. Located on top of a hill, quite far away from Phnom Penh, around 55km, took me 2 hours drive by motorbike. The road there is good, using the main road NR2, until entering the smaller ununpaved roads at km 50-ish. Then ride along the bumpy redsand road until found the parking lot. Many street vendors there. Then you should climb up the stairs, quite lobg, but the view is greater every steps. Once atop, it's like a small village (which is kinda true coz sone people and monks living there) with this ruins of temples around. If you've been to Angkor Wat, you'll see the similarities of the designs. There're also newer temple here. Not much of foreginers there. At that time I was the only foreigner. Others are locals, family and teens hanging around looking at the view from above. Not so crowded. Good vibe. The kids vibin' with loud Dangdut musics up here, while nearby there's some temple with monks in it. Quite amusing! On the back, there are a small stair going down to other ruins. Some kind of gate maybe.
