The mangroves are nothing I've ever seen in Cambodia before. Nice paths for you to walk on to see the mangroves but beware of some uneven pavement. It's almost got a very scary blair witch feel to it but it's very beautiful. Later in the evening you should bring mosquito repellant. Also, once it becomes dark, ask the locals were the fireflies are. It's not far away from the end of one of the paths that you were following to see the mangroves. Read more/A must when visiting Koh Kong.There seems to a high awareness aboiut not throwing plastic.Saw a few trash but generally clean. It was raining at the time of the visit. Some took refuge under the huts that lined that river. Some bought umbrella from the vendors selling river sandals and other souvenirs. The hanging bridge added a variety the whole experience. After about an hour of walk around, we took a boat ride from the hanging bridge location to the parking for 50 cents USD per person.Around the parking area are restos selling steamed fresh prawns for 7uSD/plate and 2usd for fried noodles.
