Phnom Nam Lyr Wildlife Sanctuary — Attraction in Mondulkiri

I enjoyed very much with this new experience to easily climb the huge flat & tall wall of mountain. Very excited and amazed 🥰. The entrance road is not yet paved by concrete nor asphalt which causes difficulty for zedan cars.

Rated 3 stars just because of the place doesn't have security system for visitors yet. It is so dangerous, especially for kids, during climbing up or down. The rope strings with supported poles looks not really strong enough to prevent from falling. During my visit, two little kids (5 or 6 years old) slided down from the flat stone about 3-4 meters height. Luckily both of them are okay, no injuries. Nam Lear is a large rocky mountain in Mondulkiri province. The path to this mountain is a bit difficult at the nearest mountain point, and the road is crossed by the French rubber plantations. Isolate place, great for climbing and nice scenery. After 10km away from the village, through dirt and rubber plantation. You will found the short hiking (100m) and a permanent climbing rope for tourist to climb up the rock mountain (guess 150m height).

If you like the make yourself sweat, totally suggest this, otherwise you will end up like my dear friend in the picture.
