This 14 hole course is well maintained and it was a wonderful experience to introduce some of my Khmer friends to the activity of miniature golf. While they were sort of aware this place existed, they had no idea what miniature golf was. The location is a little outside The city. The phone number on Google Maps is accurate and I highly recommend having your driver call for directions. The owner is super friendly and speaks English well. This is his family business. Prices are reasonable with discounts to play multiple rounds. Children also receive a discounted price. There is also an unpublished Khmer price and I would recommend paying for your driver or other Khmer friends to enjoy a round and introduce them to this family friendly activity. I think this is the only course in Cambodia with artificial turf. (Others play directly on concrete.) While the holes are a little tight, there are plenty of benches to sit on and they have a mister system installed throughout the course to provide a little relief from the heat during the day. The owner will provide basic putting instruction for those unfamiliar with how to putt. The gardens around the holes are very nicely maintained and are filling in, giving the feeling of an established course. The difficulty ranges from a couple of holes with a par 2 to a very difficult hole with a par 6. As is tradition, a hole-in-one on the last hole entitles the golfer to a free drink. A Khmer friend was lucky enough to sink the putt with one stroke and experience the thrill of victory. While this is not among the top, elaborate courses in the US, it is a surprisingly good recreation of the experience in Cambodia and was worth the effort to invest the 2 hours (travel, game, and 19th hole) to...
Read moreExcellent mini golf about 15 mins by tuktuks from the city centre in Siem Reap. For adults it was $5 for 1 round (14 holes) or $8 for two rounds or $10 for three rounds. Children were cheaper. This is a great mini golf. I appreciate that the owner put effort into making an actually decent and creative mini golf. Many people would have just made it half the size with no imagination but a lot of the holes are actually really big and it is all creatively designed around the local temples. The owner is lovely. We played two rounds but he let us pay afterwards so you didn't have to decide straight away how much to play. We got a hole in one on our first round which meant a free beer and we had that (and paid for one) after the round. We then played again and got two my hole in ones but decided not to claim these. It's a nice idea to have free beer for a hole in one and he didn't question it at all. I'd highly recommend you come here as an alternative activity in Siem Reap. Getting a tultuk via grab was very easy on the way back despite being a bit far out from the busy area. We were the only ones here when we played early.afternoon on a week day. They also serve food and play decent old school music. Highly...
Read moreWe read about Angkor Wat Putt in our guide book, and decided to give it a try after a day of walking around the temples.
While on the outside it may look like a just a normal golf course, there is so much more than meets the eye. There is an entire community surrounding this course, made up of some of the most nicest and welcoming people we've met. It was our first time being there but it felt like we've been part of the a community for years.
We went on their tournament day, there was freshly made bbq chicken and a traditional curry. As well as loads of golf and beers to be won.
I cannot express how much we enjoyed this place.
Please give it a visit, it's only 20 minutes from city center, and is well worth it.
To the people and staff of Angkor Wat Putt thank you for making our time here...
