Emailed Gagan hoping to rent out a camper van on the property overnight. The camper vans were already occupied but he offered us to rent out an empty RV on the site with electricity and an electric heater. We were provided firewood (chopped up pallets). Available was also a maintained indoor bathroom with hot water shower. We were warm enough in the RV even though temperatures got down to 4 degrees celsius. He even offered to park the rv in the warehouse when we were worried about a storm. A nice quick getaway not far from town for a cheap price. The RV was a bit of a fixer upper and parked without a view, but we were informed before hand and knew what to expect. Gagan was an excellent communicator and met our last minute needs, even after we almost cancelled our trip due to the weather.

Visited today evening while way back to home from Mt. Baker. Was tempted by social media ads. But disappointed. Very minimum options. Bought raw honey 1 kg for 25$, 2 dozen eggsfor 11$, 4 were broken. Only variety is a big warehouse of unstiched fabrics. Not farm products.

I'm not sure if it's a shared garden or not, but it looks messy—unorganized plants and lots of grass. I bet they never take care of it. The price is pretty much the same, though. Farmers' prices here are usually higher than supermarket prices, whereas in Asia, farm prices are typically lower than market prices. I don't understand why almost every farmer in Canada seems to follow the same pricing strategy.

If I were a farmer, I’d sell my produce at 50% below market price, and offer a 25% discount during high demand. Why? Not just to make food more affordable, but also to keep customers coming back and support...

Last week I got the BEST, spray-free blueberries from here. The bag was almost as big as my head, with two cartons of fresh strawberries all for $20. All of the fruit was so fresh and sweet. I thought I’d have time to make fresh blueberry baking but they’re so good, we’ve eaten them all already! If I’d have know this was so close to me, I would’ve come sooner! I ran into so many people from Surrey visiting for fruit and fresh eggs. They had honey, corn on the cob, strawberries, blackberries, zucchini…. Green beans… so many items for sale. Will be back...
