I can't leave a review ~ lest one of the BEST KEPT SECRETS leaks to the world. This is the haven! The water is crystal clear, you can see 10'+ to the bottom. It's quiet, out of the way and really what "de-stressing" is all about! So grateful to my friends for inviting me and my family to their cabin. PS. Not a last-minute, wing-it vacation. It's still pretty rural and you have to bring your own food, etc. Saw my first shooting star here and Lake Westlemkoon redefines campfire s'mores.

I live in less than 8 kilometers on Mayo Lake road Mcarthurs Mills. This is a great area to hunt, fish, and just get out and site seeing. There is going to be construction road resurfacing so if your planning on coming up this was off highway 28...
