A short hike, about a 1/4 km., in from the road to the falls (actually a series of small water falls) along the a trail that is the old Devil’s Hill Road to Terra Nova. After visiting the falls it is worth a walk further to where the country open up as the views are wonderful, especially in the fall. The trail was in good walking condition in the fall of 2012 when we were last there.

The story of Devil's Hill falls is that Devil's Hill Road, the road that runs along the side of the stream that becomes the falls, was named because a gentleman met the Devil on his way home from Mira Ferry one night after a dance in the late 19th century.

There were quite a few farms along the road that went to the Mira, a few of them owned by German families, all ling gone now,...

The road to get there for the last 8-10 km is not asphalted, a bit rough but seen worse in Montreal city.

The trail goes down quite rough all the way. On the lower portion ropes are attached on trees to help out. If rainy it does get very slippery and muddy so make sure you have the right trail gear for the hike back up.

Easy hike up the country side of New Boston. Take the New Boston exit, The road turns to a dirt road but just keep going down until you hit the end of the road and go Left you can’t miss the little sign. About 5 minutes up theres a nice waterfall on the left but you rope down to it so don’t do it if you are hurt/injured or cant use your hands to get down. Theres also another little spot on the other...

Beautiful spot. Waterfall is near the beginning of trail so it's an easy hike to get there. Trail continues deeper into the woods. Access above and below falls, but take caution as banks are steep and slippery when wet. Small trail marker so keep your eyes open driving to the trail.
