This campground was very disappointing. Not well maintained, power in one site was not working, moved to another and almost had an injury as the boards on the picnic table were not fastened down on one end, park is not well marked so it takes a bit to figure out where to go. The sites are well proportioned so you can fit a large trailer in without issue. No one working in the park office although parks vehicles were present, and present at their supposed residences the following day. Never saw a single staff member during our stay. The park is basically a wetland and as there is a lot of standing water and already many mosquitoes it will soon become very heavily infested. We arrived a week before the "season " officially begins on May 15th so water taps were not working at time of visit and neither was the dumping station. As far as a lake goes, this is not a lake. Large pond yes. Good place for a daytrip to capture a bit of wildlife for locals, or possibly a short paddle. I was also disappointed to see power boats on the water. It is too small a space for them and should be limited to only motorless watercraft. Note: If you stay here you need cash or a cheque for the first come first served...

Beauvais Lake Provincial Park is a great park to camp.

They have RV sites, Tent sites and Group use sites. They also have some 1st come 1st served walk-in sites available. Check-in to the site is easy. There is a self check box as you enter the camp site. Though there are a of of trees in the campsite site, the sites themselves are close to each other. Some sites are shared sites (e.g. site 8 and 10).

They have basic facilities available. Pit Toilets and Drinking Water are available throughout out the camp site. Sites with power have 15 amp and 30 amp power connections. Each site also has a picnic table and a fire pit (check fire bans before use). There is a dump station close to the camp entrance.

There are 2 day use areas on each site of the lake. Beaver Creek Day Use and North Shore Day Use areas.

There are a lot of trails to hike. Amongst others, there is a trail that goes around the lake. The lake is a short walk away from the campsite. Access to the water is from a dock at the boat launch. The dock also has a...

This park is not far from the main roads and there is a good size town for supplies not too far away. We did miss the turn off to the campground when we entered the park but were able to easily turn around and go back. There is a very nice adventure playground with benches and picnic tables nearby located in the campground. Campsites are roomy and offer some privacy. There is a sign showing all the trails with distances but there are also bear and cougar warnings. There are FCFS sites as wall as reservation sites. There was no indication if the sites marked R for reservable were available or not. There was a park host with on duty when we camped here. There is an osprey nest on top of an old dead tree in the boat launch parking. We watched them fishing in the lake. The campground is not on the lake and there is not beach area. The park is on level ground and the...
