The tent sites are neglected when it comes to proper tree care (some of them need pruning) and lack running water...none of the 6 taps there were working. We had to drive to the main RV campsite to get water, which is quite a hassle with young children. Otherwise, the tenting area has reasonable privacy, washrooms were clean and the lake is nice to boat on (no swimming though, leeches there). There are many hiking trails on both sides of the lake, most of them on the south shore. This is bear and cougar country so use caution.

Nice park, good for picnic, good for families. Opportunities for kayaking. Good for fishing trouts, parking is very limited and lots of private cabins. Dogs must be on leash. Road to get there is terrible

Nice walk along the lake. Seen few trout jumping! Seen few birds too! Once easy walk! Sorry thought I had more photos .

Beauvais Lake is a picturesque lake located about 24 km southwest of the town of Pincher Creek. Nice picnic spots and public washrooms are available. Dogs must be on leash when walking around the trail. A good place to observe fauna and flora and birds both on and off water. Lots of hiking trails near the lake including a campground. Lake is stocked with trout for fishermen and boating is...

Worst experience possible we were harassed by park rangers. Falsely accused of being loud and obnoxious and for extreme use of profanity. We’re issued two tickets one for noise and another for not locking our food away when our bear locker on site was broken. We were inebriated in the morning and evicted from our site which is not only dangerous but...
