This place is 20 minutes of low key fun for engineering nerds.

I have driven past signs to the aqueduct many times over the last 40 years and have always wanted to stop.

It was well worth the 20 minutes it took us to visit. If you like local history or engineering history from the early 1900's you will like it.

This is the perfect place for people that enjoy things like finding arrowheads, metal detecting, looking for fossils,or seeing interesting geography. Not that any of that stuff is here, just that the type of person that likes that type of stuff will also like seeing this place for a...

Loved seeing this piece of Sputhern Alberta history. The signs were great with lots of helpful and interesting information. My 6 year old loved seeing the aqueduct and trying to figure out how it would have worked.

It's a fairly quick visit or you can of course spend longer if you want to walk down its length. Standing by the one end is helpful for scale for kids...

This is a unique historical site in Alberta's Grasslands region and has a lot of information about why it was an important part of the area's history. There is a great walking trail, year round washroom facilities, ample parking and lots of places to take really interesting photos. I would absolutely recommend taking the extra ten minute drive from Brooks to check...

This is a great place for a nice easy walk along the side of an aquaduct. You can learn about the structure and then stroll it's length and at the same time enjoy the surrounding countryside which is beautiful. We did it on a hot day and it was glorious sunshine and bug free walking. Well worth visiting especially for those who like to see how things work.

Neat historic site next to Brooks, if you're in the area or passing through it's worth a stop, about 15-20 minutes to see the panels and drive the length of it. Free admission and no one was there when I went, but keep in mind that it's not staffed nor are there facilities. That said, it's very easily self guided.

Its ok there where no leaflets to help you along the self guided tour thou there where makes sign posts that hinted there ought to be. The road to the tour section down the way was also locked for some reason even thou we where there during open times everything was all locked up
