It's a very rustic campsite, not much to do I wish it was alittle cheaper at $26 a night and there is hardly any development it should be only $20/night. On the positive the outhouse was very clean and didn't smell that bad. Also bring bear spray or any other bear deterrent, they are around but if you keep your campsite clean you shouldn't get a visit!! I'll go again because there isn't much camping here in Fort McMurray.

Great little park. Was virtually empty when we stayed. Sites were big and well spaced. Pit toilets where as clean can be expected. Water from a ground pump is available. No firewood available so bring your own. Our site the ground was hard, made it tough to sink tent pegs, minor complaint. Boat launch is suitable for kayak or canoe.

Very quiet and peaceful. It's quite the trek down to the lake and there is algae. But I enjoyed my camping trip there. Beautiful campsite. It is back road camping so little accommodations.

It's nice to have another camping option in the Fort Murray greater area, even if it's not the best. It seems like this was constructed rather quickly. The area tree's are all leveled, with little to no brush or trees between sites. Currently very rustic with two outhouses and two garbage cans. No water. 1/3 of the sites are Very nice with a lake view, but the other 2/3's are overgrown with weeds. The lake is more shallow than expected, you can walk quite far out. In Aug there was a lot of Algae growth. The fish can be heard jumping but we were unable to catch anything. No motor boats on this lake according to...

No boat access. No lake access unless you want to scramble down a steep hill. No trails (not even the unofficial ones that people end up making themselves, I'm guessing the campground is just that new). Just 15 or 20 small camping spots with firepits (no firewood so bring your own) in a circle and 2 outhouses which are at least clean, probably cause nobody uses...
