A lovely historical campground where you could see the history of that place. The size of the campsite is a little small, but still some privacy. It has an outhouse washroom, drinkable water, and a lovely firepit. Bring your bikes so you can bike around Maples Park. Also, when the season is correct, you can pick some fresh strawberries that taste amazingly sweet. You could also taste some great food and ice cream from local restaurants. During the weekend people are pretty loud with music etc., unfortunately, some don't respect the quiet rules, so they still make noise even after 11 pm. But other than that, this campground is good.

Our adventure began by visiting the gift shop, where we found souvenirs that perfectly captured our experience. The natural surroundings were breathtaking. We enjoyed exploring the trails and taking in the vibrant flora. The highlight of our day was definitely the water! It was absolutely perfect for a refreshing dip, a wonderful way to cool off while surrounded by nature. We left with beautiful memories and a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty and history of the area. We can't wait to return!

This is a beautiful place to stop and stretch your legs or get together for a family picnic. There is a lot of ground area for larger families to meet and a playground close by. There is a beautiful campground right on the river that appears to have quite large lots, companion sites and fire pits. There are two historical building you can walk to on site and some more, including a few cemeteries, a short drive or walk away. Take a walk to Dunvegan Gardens for treats and ice cream!

The Dunvegan park area itself was beautifully kept with lots of space for day picnics..the terrible thing though are the restrooms, they just stink horribly, far beyond any other national park in Alberta or B.C.!!!They are not adequately vented nor is the ventilating there done correctly..what is there is incorrect lengths of black venting pipe..that aren't venting the washrooms at all..I can't return to spend the day again nor bring friends there until this horrid unkempt problem is solved!!
