Goat Creek Trail runs from Canmore to Banff and is best for mountain biking in the summer or cross country skiing in the winter. It’s a beautiful well maintained trail that’s roughly nineteen kilometres long. Most of the trail is sandwiched between tall trees which blocks most views of the mountains but there are a few beautiful stops along the way where you can stop and take in the views and nature. This is also a kid friendly hike/trail.

Long and easy trail. I run 🏃‍♂️ from Banff and returned, total 18 km + 18 km in the middle of nature. The track is easy, partially along the river in the middle of the wood. I run on Sunday August 6, 2023: over the 4 hrs run, i crossed no more than 20 bikers/hikers/runners. The difference in elevation is quite smooth. Take sufficient water and .......
