Read moreThis place does not feel like Alberta or from this earth. Walking on Mars would be the closest thing to it.several trails to walk around and explore. There’s a large parking lot, with several gift shops and food options which are all unfortunately closed for the winter. When I visited on a Wednesday, I was the only one there. Amazing view of the drumheller and Hoodoos reformation is so unique. Definitely do not miss out on this if you’re visiting drumheller. the sand is pretty red so be careful with your clothes, also the hill can get icy. Read moreWooden ramps and stairs are built now in the area to reduce traffic on the hoodoos directly. Small gravel parking lot with a food truck/ ice cream stand & portapotties on site. Only a few spots where you can take a picture without the walkways in view unless you walk up higher. Erosion either because of natural or human impact on the area is quite significant compared to when I saw these last about 9 years ago when there was no one there but us.
