About minutes of drive towards East of Drumheller Town. You can even see it from the main road but if you go nearby science have own meaning to describe the past. You will see natural erosion preserved in a proper way to show the timely erosion of the earth with the water in the past. The major hoodoos is protected and covered with the barrier but you can go very close to see it without touching. Some parts of the place were covered with some ailment to protect the original shape and marking of the marks of the past. There are metal stairs to go little up and see it from near. There are side of the road where soil has been washed to the sides. The soil is very sticky beter watch for it if its not dry weather they will get on to the shoes. Good parking...

This place does not feel like Alberta or from this earth. Walking on Mars would be the closest thing to it.several trails to walk around and explore. There’s a large parking lot, with several gift shops and food options which are all unfortunately closed for the winter. When I visited on a Wednesday, I was the only one there. Amazing view of the drumheller and Hoodoos reformation is so unique. Definitely do not miss out on this if you’re visiting drumheller. the sand is pretty red so be careful with your clothes, also the hill can get icy. Make sure to spend some time there to see the sun move and how the shadows play on these...

Wooden ramps and stairs are built now in the area to reduce traffic on the hoodoos directly. Small gravel parking lot with a food truck/ ice cream stand & portapotties on site. Only a few spots where you can take a picture without the walkways in view unless you walk up higher. Erosion either because of natural or human impact on the area is quite significant compared to when I saw these last about 9 years ago when there was no one there but us. This time 2 tour buses and a full parking lot of cars. Hopefully the hoodoos won't continue to lose their...

A wonderful and curious sight and place to see. The natural structures are interesting and can feel out of this world. It’s a unique place. Be ready for some climbing if you’re really the adventure-goer, and take the challenge of climbing as far as you can. If you’re a nature buff, then consider this like a hike in the mountain, especially given the steep parts, even if it’s not as tall. Overall, a natural site for all ages, worthwhile to go to for fun and picture-worthy
