Kananaskis Lakes — Attraction in Alberta

One of my favourite spots in kananaskis !!! The place is incredible, it is very quiet, the lake is huge. I have seen bears more than once in the area. The place is clean and you can carry your motorised boat. The tranquillity of this place is impressive. The view of both upper and lower kananaskis lakes are amazing. In autumn, we saw both yellow leaves of trees, blue sky and sea, and white rocky mountains so the photos you take can be very colorful. There are no birds, ducks or gooses on the lake maybe because it’s too cold in autumn(?) maybe they’ll be here in summer. You can skip rocks here for the whole day. Not difficult to walk at all. Beautiful lakes, beautiful drive

This place may miss some infrastructure. But this lake is rural with all the consequences of it.

Also the weather can be a bit finicky here.
