Read moreJust off the main highway a couple of miles. The falls are beautiful and powerful. Some exploring down along the river can be done by going down a couple sets of steps. There are no hand rails, so take caution. There are 2 viewing platforms on the North side of the river and one on the South. There are bathroom facilities, a picnic table and garbage bins available at the parking area on the north side. I noticed a smaller parking area on the south side, but cannot comment of facilities there. Plan to spend at least 20 minutes or longer. The sound of the water is very relaxing so you may be there longer than you thought.
