After we finished our visit to the Cave & Basin Historical Site, we saw this trail near the exit. It's a boardwalk. So we think it's good for us seniors with some minor mobility issues. We didn't plan to finish the whole loop, but to walk until we reached our limits. However, we found this boardwalk was manageable by all of us. And the tree shades helped us enjoy a good leisure walk at the noon time. It's such a wonderful and unexpected experience for us....

Probably our favourite spot to come when we’re in Banff. The loop is easy for all and the views are gorgeous. We love hearing the water trickle down the mountain all the way to the lake. The water is so warm, it never freezes. There are lookouts for birds and spots to see the small fish that call the marsh home. Peaceful spot just to relax. Check it out next time you’re in Banff. It’s just below the...

We took our little kids on this hike. It’s very easy- which is what we were looking for. The trails are well maintained. We had a stroller with us. A few times we had to lift it over tree roots, but generally manageable. Beautiful views of the river and the mountains. Lots of places to dip your feet in the river...

This is an awesome hike! The exhibit and springs above are amazing, and also definitely worth a visit. This is a very easy trail with some wildlife like snakes and birds. The views down at the Marsh are absolutely spectacular. Definitely walk this easy and beautiful trail while at this park!

A nice short little hike to stretch your legs in Banff. I've never seen a hot springs marsh and just loved the moss growing under the frost. We were told we would see lots of birds, but we saw/heard none. You could see all the minnows swimming in the flowing warm waters though! Very neat!
