Marsh Loop Trailhead — Attraction in Alberta

After we finished our visit to the Cave & Basin Historical Site, we saw this trail near the exit. It's a boardwalk. So we think it's good for us seniors with some minor mobility issues. We didn't plan to finish the whole loop, but to walk until we reached our limits. However, we found this boardwalk was manageable by all of us. And the tree shades helped us enjoy a good leisure walk at the noon time. It's such a wonderful and unexpected experience for us....

Probably our favourite spot to come when we’re in Banff. The loop is easy for all and the views are gorgeous. We love hearing the water trickle down the mountain all the way to the lake. We took our little kids on this hike. It’s very easy- which is what we were looking for. The trails are well maintained. We had a stroller with us.
