Read moreBEWARE OF FECAL BACTERIA IN LAKE!!! Con: People were swimming in the lake- even though we got an email about the lake because unsafe and it’s all over the internet that it’s not safe to do so because of the high level of fecal bacteria in it. Nasty. The park staff wasn’t informing anyone and there was no signs! I was at E-222 and we could fully see both of our neighbours, so it really lacked privacy- even though there are plenty of trees. the outhouses are so rancid. We ended up walking further to the flush toilets because the smell of the outhouse was so bad it literally burnt my eyes from the smell. Everyone that went in gagged.
Pro: The sights are a good size. We were able to fit two tents on our spot without any issues. I enjoyed walking the trails around the campground. only an hour away from Edmonton little village nearby to pickup any groceries site sells a bundle of fire wood for $10 has...

The lake has been getting cleaner by the year but people still complain about blue algae and stuff despite it being a naturally occurring algae that is more prominent with low water levels and hot summers. Just use common sense. More people need to contribute to the community so it can...
