I've done 15 hikes this year and this was certainly the prettiest. The first 2km is all uphill so pace yourself for the rest of the hike. There is a beautiful meadow once you come out of the trees where you can explore and still see the main trail. Once you see the first summit continue through the trees if you want to get to the other summit. Make sure you being bear spray as there have been bears in the area.

This was a pleasant hike on a beautiful day. One of our children has some difficulties with balance so we went slowly to the top of the ridge, the initial and steepest part. Had lunch in a meadow and went back. We didn't do the loop or go too much further past clearing the tree line. Lovely and rewarding views of the Elbow Valley toward the confluence with the Little Elbow.

There are two entrances to this trail, one is from beginning of the dirt road, another one is 7km ahead on dirt road. The second one is not well marked, look for a tree with red marking to find starting point. Views from the ridge are amazing.

Great hike on the way up, spectacular views from the top where the Canada 🇨🇦 is. A bit tough on the knees coming down. We started from the gravel road at the end of 66 where it turns left into Little Bow Campground. No signage but you will see the beginning...
