What a wonderful day we had today. This was arranged for us as a work function - very fun day. We got to meet some super cute animals - baby goats (Pebbles), friendly cats, fluffy bunnies, Basil the parrot and some squirrels. We met the owner Tam and a lot of her fabulous staff. All are friendly and truly love what they do, and we got to reap the benefits! We took a ride on the train and our awesome guide taught us a lot about edible flowers, herbs, etc. Who knew dandilions and marigolds flowers were so yummy? Tam and her staff prepared a delicious lunch for us and my goodness what a treat it was. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Bravo to all the staff. We made a succulent pot to bring home, got to dig for gems and made some herb salt (which I can't wait to put on our next steak). I would recommend you wear comfortable shoes, a hat and bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are plentiful too.

We had a good time here, hotdogs weren’t the freshest for the amount of time we waited for them. There’s lots of wonderful pumpkins to choose from, only issue is if someone has a whole cart full of them it takes forever for you to pay for them. Good for families with younger children. I only gave 4 stars Because the bathrooms were horrible, having an outhouse wasn’t the problem, it was the fact they haven’t been cleaned it seems in months. The toilet paper and waste was almost coming up out of the seats. All the bathrooms were like that! Just filthy, some poor little girl almost peed her pants cause she didn’t wanna go in them. You weren’t even able to squat over top. It was very very very unsanitary. For a place that charges money to get into and serves drinks and food…. You need washrooms that the customers can use!! There were a lot of great photo opportunities, and the little haunted house was great!!

My visit to Prairie Garden was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the vibe hit differently—there’s so much to do and enjoy. We started at the petting zoo, where we got to feed sheep and goats with hay and pumpkins. It was such a fun and memorable experience! One of the highlights was making a scarecrow, a super fun activity that we absolutely loved. We also did pumpkin painting, where you pick a pumpkin from the farm and decorate it with beautiful colors and glitter. The garden also has mazes for kids to explore and a haunted house, which is more funny than spooky but perfect for children. The decorations were on point, and their convection market had some really beautiful items. Overall, it was a great experience. If you're visiting with kids, I recommend going early, as there are so many activities to enjoy, and you might need 3-4 hours to see it all

I responded to an add selling cabbage. I was asked to call a phone number to place my order. I called the number, left my name, the numbers of lbs I wanted, and gave the pick up date and time, which I was told worked great (I gave 5 days notice). I showed up today to pick up my order as I was passing by on my Way to teach in Edmonton. When I arrived, I was told I was in the right place and they would check for my order after helping another group. The staff helped them and then began to help another group. She motioned that she would again help me after the next group. I indicated that I had somewhere to be and I would prefer not to wait. So, the staff went off to look for my order. I was brought out a different type of cabbage than I had ordered and I explained that I had ordered the specific cabbage that I wanted. The staff disappeared again (I waited 15 minutes) and can't back to tell me that the other cabbage was fine for what I was doing and that they could go harvest the cabbage while I waited. I explained that I needed the type of cabbage that I had ordered and that I had called a days ahead of time because I would be passing by at a certain time on my way to work. Her response was oh okay. No "I'm sorry we didn't have your order ready" no "I'm sorry we didn't call you to let you know that we couldn't fill your order and so you wouldn't have to drive 30 min out of your way".

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the service. Even a very basic apology would have changed my opinion in...

Prairie Gardens is a great place to go to get your veggies, and a wonderful place for some family fun.

They have a U-Pick and a Community Supported Agriculture garden with lots of workshops and hands on activities.

They have festivals all through the year and a corn maze during the summer to navigate. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Always something for the kids to do!

They have a souvenier shop that is full of all kinds of neat things and a candy store with some great fudge available for sale.

My favourite is the pumpkin festival. You can take a tour through the corn maze and then ride the bus over to the farm where you can enjoy a great lunch with a slice of pumpkin pie! There is always a balloon artist on hand that has an inventive sculpture every year and there to make balloon animals for the kids.

Even as an adult, I love the petting zoo. Goats, Llamas and bunnies to pet. They have peacocks and other animals as well that are great to watch, but not open to the public.

If you want a different activity to do for a gathering of friends or a birthday party, they have firepits that you can reserve for your activities.

The only thing that I don't enjoy about the visits is the "tokens". You need to go and purchase tokens to be able to collect your food items at the different concession stands. I don't remember having to do this when we went last year.

All in all, a great way to support your...

It was horrible. Definitely targeted for little kids. Like maybe 2-4years olds. Website was completely misleading. Weren’t able to actually use the upick, could not take home the scarecrow that was made. (Online said you can), the corn maze was so low and gross looking, the sunflowers were half dead and again waist high. My kid was taller than it. There was no tire toss when we went, we went to try the corn cob toss- no one was there, and no corn. It’s overpriced for what you actually get. The haunted house was mediocre at best.. again, probably meant for very little kids as my 6 year old thought it was boring. Very disappointed because the website made it seem amazing, so we drove 5 hours to check it out. Not only that, but the produce you could buy at the little store, it’s okay prices.. but when we got home, realized that 90% of it was rotten. (My fault for not picking through each carton), the tops looked great.. but everything underneath was god awful. If you’re looking for a good corn maze that’s worth the money, the one near Stoney plain & the one in I think lacombe is also great! Definitely better than this one.

It was such a waste of money & effort driving.

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE AND MAKE IT MORE ACCURATE!! I have a screenshot of what it says of today. It’s not okay. And it needs to be fixed. Or at least updated to say it’s targeted for...
