Cons: Found what I believe is a water hemlock on the shore, be careful with your children and pets... See attached pictures. Visibility varies between a few feet to about 10 feet. So if you like to swim in a crystal clear lake, then this lake may not be for you for most of the daylight hours.

Pros: You are guaranteed either a front row view of sunrise or sunset. Swimming and other water recreation activities can be carried out on the lake. So remember to pack with this in mind. Bring a fishing rod or two, don't forget to get a fishing license if you are not a child or a senior. Water birds can be seen at this lake. For hikers and mountain bikers, there is a variety of different riding or walking surfaces (tarred and gravel roads, and trails) to explore.

Big fan of this lake! It has the greenish water of most small shallow lakes, but it does not grow the toxic algae so it's good for swimming! Fishing is good too. Fun fact: this lake is an endorheic lake, meaning it...

I helped my clients purchase their lake property on Skeleton Lake. What a beautiful lake!! It is still one of the healthiest lakes in Alberta that doesn't get the blue/green algae. What a great place for year...
