This one is an interesting one. Parking is simply along a road that eventually turns into a 4x4 only road. Get out and start walking toward the rocky hill. Watch out for pick ups. They were coming and going (carrying tubes to chill in the creek). It's obviously a big ATV riding area also (we didnt see or hear any) as the trails are wide, rocky and clearly marked as quading trails. As for the walking trail that takes you to the falls... nothing. No signage whatsoever. It's a pretty confusing. Ask others if anyone is around as to which direction to go. Hint, ignore all trails until you get down close to the creek. Then you'll see the trail, big as ever, following the creek. But until you get down there the bank and trees hide everything. By the time we figured this out we had been eaten by mosquitoes from being in the trees on the quad trails and unfortunately my wife rolled her ankle on said quad trail so she played out quickly after that. Never made it to the falls, just...

A great family walk to a hidden waterfall in Coleman, Crowsnest Pass. This is a medium difficulty .3km walk as you have to scale up a rope over a large boulder. Not recommended for children without a parent/guardian. NOT for toddlers. Best to go mid to late summer as high water in the spring makes it a little treacherous. You can walk up the gas pipline at the start of the hike a short distance and a path to the right takes you to the top of the ridge over the falls. The rocky slope down to the falls is a dangerous walk as its...

Such a beautiful place to visit! The hike can be a loop or you can go directly to the falls. We opted for the loop where you can view the falls from above and then came down to bottom. Parts are quite slippery when you are climbing on the rocks and the chain that has been put in place to climb up is great! It’s not an easy hike, but we did it and we are not seasoned hikers. Well...

Nice short hike. If you go up the view of the waterfall is quite blocked, but you get a good view either way. If you go down and follow the river then depending on the time of year you can either see a big frozen waterfall, walk fairly close to the waterfall, or when we went this week we could only go up to the first bend since the water level was too high to go further.
