This review reflects both the camping experience as well as the hikes. Sulphur Gates lookout is really pretty. Very quiet here on July 1 long weekend. Easy 300 meter hike. The falls hike is 7km return. The trail is wide and used by horse riders as well. There are rolling hills to the falls with one scenic lookout right before turning off to the falls path. There are other longer 20km+ hikes that I haven't done but look great. There are trails connecting Wilmore to Jasper from here. The campground fees are $30, and there are no showers, not even potable water. The camp sites look new with new picnic tables, fresh gravel and fire pits. There is no privacy between campsites as it's more of a gravel parking lot. There appears to be additional camp sites near the Sulphur gates trailhead but it's not clear if it's day use only. The campground is more for equine as this is the entry to Wilmore Wilderness area.

This has been on my bucket list for awhile, finally made it on July 14th. Beautiful area; we did the viewpoints and then hiked in to Eaton Falls. The hike wasn't too long or hard, though it was a very warm day so the falls were a needed reward. Some good views on the trail in though it's a bit up/down with a few rocky patches, but essentially a roadway. My son complained a bit on the way in but when we got to the falls he said it was "the most beautiful place he'd ever seen." Maybe a bit of an exaggeration but it was a welcome site

Unbelievable and totally unexpected, an absolute must stop if you are in the area. Great little park for a picnic or lunch and to take in the views. 3 different vantage points are available each a little less accessible but all have incredible views of the river and cliffs. There are other trails we didn't get a chance to see but hopefully next time. The road was a bit rough on the way in, a smaller car might not be ideal.

Stopped for the night in our RV. I don't think it was open really. No one else was there. The sites are a bit small and not super level. It is also down a long gravel road with no turn around until you get to the end. Even that was a bit tight with the trees. But it was quiet, and there was a couple of trails (for hiking and horse riders). We only did the short trail (no horses) and it led to beautiful sights! Definitely worth stopping for a night if you are ok with taking it slow down the gravel road to get there! There are no facilities for people but there was horse corrals and...
