Not much privacy at all here unless the place is less than half full. Cash only operation and there is not a atm under 40 min drive away. Absolutely no drinking allowed on the premises and for the night I stayed there they had a police vehicle drive through to check each campsite. Also you must Only buy wood on site (10$) and no personal wood is allowed to be used there. The gentleman running the place, Mike I believe his name was was very unprofessionally rude and threatening for no reason to me although his wife Elizabeth was very hospitable and welcoming. I Will never stay there again.

Hiked into the campground from snowshoe Valley and out the Blackiston way. The forest was burnt up pretty bad from the 2017 fire at lower elevations and tons of bugs up at the campground but it's beautiful here. Theres a nice quick steady climbing side trip up to the continental divide that was worthwhile. The ridge towers over these lakes. On the way back, Blakiston falls were cool to see, but that valley was completely burnt.

Beautiful lake and great for swimming and kayaking! Spring fed lake so no motorized boats allowed. Campground is small but there are a couple larger sites. Lovely place to spend a couple nights or just for a day trip.

Beautiful grounds and decent set up for a weekend away. The attendants were super nice and easy going. The firewood set up is nice, fishing was decent (if you don’t mind Northern Pike) and the new beach was great.

If you are a dog owner, do us all a favour and keep your dog with you and on a leash. So many unattended animals barking...
