Showers were just cleaned and when I went in to use them I was quite taken back by how dirty they really were. The counters, floors and shower stalls were infested with bugs everywhere. The window ledges had a layer of bugs on them that floated down like a cloud as I was blow drying my hair. This grossed me out . The shower stall had lots of bugs on them. There's no place to put shower bottles when in the shower and there's only 1 shower hook to hang a towel on but no place to hang clothes ( I hung my clean clothes over the shower door). A second hook would be better. Cleaner showers and washroom floors and counters would certainly be nicer to see. Also if there weren't bugs in the soap dispensers that would be nice. It was our first time camping here and we really like how well maintained the campsites are. We plan to book again next year for the days of the Vermillion fair. Im just pointing out the washroom/ shower concers to bring awareness to you about it. We really like site 99...

The campsites were very spacious and nice, although not a lot of privacy, you can see what others are doing even when trying not to. There is no beach for kids to play in, not sure if it’s because of water quality, but still a small beach with sand would have been so fun for kids. They only have a boat dumping space by the river. They do have kids parks, mini golf and spray park, which are closed due to COVID. But I bet when they’re open, kids would be happy. The trails are nice, the campground is very close to the town so you don’t feel you’re camping in the wild, which I personally prefer. They charge extra to use the dumping station, which I think it’s ridiculous, we’ve never had to pay extra at other parks. I mean for $38 a night, why should you pay extra for dumping? Anyways nice park but nothing out of the ordinary and would not visit again...

After camping and traveling for 3 months across Canada, we stayed two nights at Vermillion before continuing east back to Ontario. The site was nice and big, close to washrooms and water tap. Staff seemed friendly and accommodating, they let us check in earlier than the posted time. The trails were also nice to walk and run. Only cons, the washrooms seemed extremely unkept. We watched staff “clean,” but fairly sure they just quickly mopped the floor and left the dirty toilets and soap scum covered sinks untouched. The showers on the other hand, have they ever been washed since the park opened? Broken tiles and shower doors, dirty shower curtains and scum build up make it an unpleasant place to be for the $2/5min price. Glad I had...

We just stayed at the park, and were impressed with many so things. The trails are awesome, a mix of paved trails, as well as back trails. The campsites were very well kept, and pretty spacious. This location has a waterpark, mini golf, and a trout pond. But one of our favourite things was walking to the town center from the park (about a 35 minute walk each way). It was cool to just sit back and have a beer, do some local shopping and then head back to your site (which has access to flush toilets and showers). Thanks also to Norm and the staff at vermillion for being great hosts! Definetly would go back.

The campground is maintained and clean. Most of the facilities are dated but the shower was newly renovated. Free hot shower is always a win and all flushable toilet in the campground. Very well grown trees around so there's lots shades. Alberta park's pictures are so dated. Kids had fun at the spray park but beware of the groundhog holes. They are cute and everywhere. No acces to the beach but you can do fishing and boating. Must pay to use the mini golf.
