Spent a week with family, 3 children under 3 and 4 adults 2 teens. Wouldn't let us pay the whole week even tho we knew we were staying. We had 2 full time cars parked and 2 that came and went as work still needed to be attended. We were quiet as to not interrupt other campers. Well, we were in the first little spot as soon as you turn in. We were there for 2-3 days then the lady became extremely ignorant. Out of nowhere told us we needed to be out by 11am, and 2 of the vehicles needed to be gone in an hour. So we packed the entire trailer and our belongings and moved further into the site since it's separately owned. She sat in her truck and watched us pack it up, it was uncomfortable. Since my daughter still isn't walking the grassy area we were at was perfect so she could still crawl around. Unfortunately when we moved there was only rocks, didn't bother us much we really enjoyed the rest of our vacation. Just beware of the crazy lady. Really upsets my family as we have been camping here...

Wyndham Carseland Campground management, this rant is not for you,, I hope you will bring attention to the grumpy old man in the general store beside Adam and Harry’s hideaway campground, he is ruining the campground reputation as well as the town’s.. If you plan to camp here, bring all the necessities and don’t forget anything so u don’t need to buy here.. That old guy there is super rude, we had very bad experience today on what he did to the kids who just want to try the ice cream. I had very long post that I will not mention here as it takes to much space. Just check comments on the reviews at Adam and Harry’s hideaway campground and you will see all the negative reviews. I liked the Wyndham campground, we enjoyed our stay here, but this man ruined everything. He doesn’t even realize what trauma he did to the child on his words with slapping on his hand off of the glass window. Nobody wants to see or touch that dirty ice cream...

We have been camping here for years and will continue to as there is lots of privacy and they do have some bigger sites. The prices are ok, not the best for what you get. There are beautiful paths to walk and nice to be close to the river. Our biggest issue with this place is the bathrooms, they are the absolute worst we have ever seen anywhere! They are just so gross and would it kill you to maybe get a light in there for nighttime or repair some of the locks on the stall doors? You make enough money, do better. The only other thing is the ice cream shop prices are horrendous and they only accept cash, you need to get with the times. Also trying to call either the back or the front office no one ever has any answers for you or even tries to help out or get you answers. We have experienced this issue many times. Sites are nice but the people who run it and the services are the worst we have ever...

A lovely campground not far from the city. Most sites are well treed and offer great privacy. Pit toilets are available. There is a playground - but it can be quite hot there during the day as there is no shade for the kids. The river can be a nice place to cool off - but also can run high and fast, so use caution. There is a small sundries shop with ice cream, which is always a hit. Reserved sites, first come, first served, over flow, walled tents and day-use area - there is something for everyone!

Beautiful spot near the river. Located on the far backside of caresland campground.

This park is located just off Hwy 24 south east of Calgary Alberta, Canada. The park borders the Bow River. The day use and picnic area has a grassy shore, parking, and a very nice playground. The campsites are in a bushy area with shade trees for great privacy on level gravel sites. There is a nice riverside trail but not much else here. The boat launch is on the other side of the river and the Hwy we found it after we left the park. Water and sani-dump available. Level, quiet, self-registration.
