Pretty little nature area on the side of Hwy 17. Areas to camp, picnic or simply relax. There are a lot of activities you can do here. They have a board launch ramp and ample parking across multiple spots in the park. They have toilet facilities which are only accessible during warmer months. Be careful accessing the location when travelling westbound as you will be crossing the road in a slightly blind area.

It was very beautiful however due to COVID, the picnic tables and BBQ pits were not out, the entrance was not open for vehicles and the public washrooms wee not open either In which was very inconvenient especially since there are no nearby facilities to let a child (or adult) go to bathroom.

Convenient spot (with super clean pit toilet!) to take out after paddling the Mallard Way canoë/kayak route. Not an inspiring river and very accurately named the South Nation Watershed...this is basically a huge, muddy irrigation ditch!

There isn't much large boat or seadoo traffic. Most power-boaters are polite, following the no-wake rule. One can see large fish jumping close-by while paddling. 2024-05-20-update: usually this is a clean park, however the visit today showed overflowing garbage bins, someone had left feces on the seat in the wooden toilet house, no toilet paper. Garbage pick-up was earlier in the morning today in neighborhood, not sure if they pick up in the park. There seems to be some mulched areas, possibly opening up the previous bush...

I enjoy this place its a great recreational place for. I just don't understand why people fish off the only dock there is you have so many great spots to fish at this location and you pick the one spot where boats are coming in. The dock is small and can only accommodate one boat at a time and when theres people with lines in the water not moving it makes for a dangerous situation I wish they would put up a no fishing sign just for the dock love fishing just makes for ...

Very clean!!!!! There is a dock at the boat launch that is handicap accessible and portable facilities as well. There is also plenty of room for fishing. Poisoness plants are also identified with a sign. I launch a boat there every May 18th to fish. I have caught Drum, Gar, Perch, Walleye, Sauger, Mooneye, Pike, Bass and Crappie. What a beautiful place to spend a day with the kids or just with friends...
