There isn't much large boat or seadoo traffic. Most power-boaters are polite, following the no-wake rule. One can see large fish jumping close-by while paddling. 2024-05-20-update: usually this is a clean park, however the visit today showed overflowing garbage bins, someone had left feces on the seat in the wooden toilet house, no toilet paper. Garbage pick-up was earlier in the morning today in neighborhood, not sure if they pick up in the park. There seems to be some mulched areas, possibly opening up the previous bush...

I just don't understand why people fish off the only dock there is you have so many great spots to fish at this location and you pick the one spot where boats are coming in.    Read moreVery clean!!!!! There is a dock at the boat launch that is handicap accessible and portable facilities as well. There is also plenty of room for fishing. Poisoness plants are also identified with a sign. I launch a boat there every May 18th to fish. I have caught Drum, Gar, Perch, Walleye, Sauger, Mooneye, Pike, Bass and Crappie. What a beautiful place to spend a day with the kids or just with friends...
