This is a provincial park mostly favoured by locals. For visitors there is a small parking lot, or some street parking. There are plenty of short trails crisscrossing the park.
Two outhouses are well maintained. Bring your own dog bags, but you can leave them and any other carry garbage in the near proof container.
All pets must be on leash and be respectful of other dogs and horses.

Read moreI biked through the park a few times.The park is well used as the trail head the parking lot was full. One of the nice parts of the park is the trail system.I rode a ebike through and was impressed with the conditions,a smooth dirt track that fairly event.Great for kids if they have bikes.Along Holden Lake,it would be nice if the Parks would build a another deck at a different location to be able walk out on to watch equatic life.The few times in the park I have seen some of the birds that frequent the lake.A dock would be like a magnet to walk out on and observe the lakes...
Read moreThis is a lovely park with some great trails. The paths are dog-friendly (and not too muddy) and the views of the water are spectacular.
On this particular day, my friend, my dog, and I went to the park for a casual walk. We saw a beautiful cormorant near the start of our little hike and some swans near the end.
My only gripe about this park is the tiny parking lot which forces people to park on the side of the road sometimes. Other than this, I highly recommend this park for anything from a family outing to a solitary,...
