This is an incredible hidden gem in Smithers.

It is a short hike from the trail head, which is a very short drive from Smithers. You can drive there quite easily with a car and there is ample parking and places to turn around. The trailhead features a set of washrooms, and an info hut. There are also places to set up a tent.

A short walk up a well made path will take you to a Y in the trail and you can either continue on the Glacier Gulch trail, or to the viewing platform for Twin Falls. The trail does gain a little in elevation, but it is not so steep that a four year old can't walk it. It might take you 15 minutes from trailhead to viewing platform and once you get there, you will be made breathless, not by a lack of cardiovascular health, but by the view.

Awesome waterfall . If you are in the area this is a must see . Very nice little drive from town (5min) and then you arrive at the base then a short litle hike up to the viewing platform. Once at the platform you can follow the litle rock/water trail (we did it in shoes and did not get wet). Once you get to the top of that trail you have the option to go up and around the big Rock ( there is a rope to help climb up and down ). If you make it past this point the view of the fall is the best . You can also walk very close to the bottom of the fall . I did it and got soaked in 20 sec just from the water spray and it almost takes your breath away from the air flow moving so fast. This place is awesome and...

5 free campsites in the woods at the trailhead for the falls. Heavily shaded and reasonably flat with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets. No privacy as tree canopy is up high. Large logs that needed splitting for firewood. Gravel road there is closed November-May due to avalanche danger. Very quiet location. Got there mid-afternoon in August and got first spot but by evening all sites taken. Adjacent small day parking lot for 15 minute hike to falls. One fall was dry at this time....

This was a beautiful hike on a well maintained trail. We went as far as the picnic table a bit past the viewing platform. The trail goes up a small steep canyon with many tall waterfalls along the walls. Two waterfalls were larger, and so itโ€™s named โ€œTwin Fallsโ€. The trail follows the small creek and you get many chances to see the rushing water flowing down the mountain. The road to the parking area and small campground was excellent. No potholes and wide enough to pass oncoming vehicles.

Saw a sign so I took the detour! The road up to Twin Falls is nice and paved, motorcycles welcomed! I could just catch glimpses of the falls and was getting excited about my decision to detour. Recommend some good hikers as the path was affected by flooding and there's avalanche warning signs too. But man oh man is the hike worth the views! There's even a few more smaller falls, that over time I can see them too becoming large enough for it to be named Triple or even Quad Falls.

An amazing Park just a short distance from Smithers BC. Plenty of parking at the trail head, which also has some camping. Pit tickets are provided. A short hike from the parking area brings you to amazing views of the falls, as well as the river. There are plenty of benches along the trail, and a viewing platform. The trail does not go to the bottom of the falls, but another trail branches off and leads to the Glacier. The Twin Falls trail is an easy hike, even for kids.
