⚠️ During our visit, the roads were quite busy, leading to significant slowdowns due to an accident. This resulted in delays of an hour or more, compounded by smoky and hazy skies, which diminished the otherwise breathtaking views. The hot weather also added to the overall discomfort.
⚠️ For those traveling to the park, it is advisable to take bathroom breaks before leaving towns like Golden or Revelstoke, as facilities along the way can be scarce. Ensuring your vehicle is well-fueled and electric vehicles are fully charged is crucial, given the potential for lengthy traffic delays.

More information on this interesting history is available at the Rogers Pass Discovery Center, about a mile east of Rogers Pass Summit, and you can view the historic site. Coming into the town of Revelstoke, there are opportunities for down hill skiing and in the summer, a gondola ride and a 'Pipeline' at one of Revelstoke's Mountain Resorts.
