AMAZING RAFTING EXPERIENCE. (Read it all!) First of all, they are the only 13:45 departure, all the other rafting companies depart at 13:15 - which doesn’t leave you too much time to finish the morning activities, eat and drive to the Riverbase. So, extra point for that. Second of all, we giggled like idiots the whole time, with their silly jokes, and their great and energetic mood. (They also have guides speaking French if you need it). Third of all, the rafting was a great and fun experience. The water levels were changing fast when we tried it, so the river ended up with obstacles that weren’t supposed to be where they were. The other bigger rafting companies modified their routes to avoid them easily, and doing so they cut back on the fun. THESE guys, they talked for about 10mins during our mid-parkour break, and they came up with a plan in order for our groups to still go through the initial route. They were skilled and confident enough to give us what we paid for. (No casualties to report !) Also, they give FREE water (sounds silly but yet every other attraction will sell you the water in Banff) AND free hot chocolate, tea and coffee at the end of the session. Sincerely, they are a smaller team and they are all there because they love what they do - I highly recommend them, and will support them every time we come back.

We went as a group of 6 with a personal raft (+1 guide) and it was AMAZING! We had booked the 'extreme' rafting which took us down the rapids twice. The first time was in the larger raft and the second time was in the smaller raft (ie: more challenging). The staff was amazing and responsive. Example: I am ALWAYS cold and the guides continuously asked if I needed gloves or extra fleece under my wetsuit. We also had my boyfriends mom, who was a 'nervous rafter' and our guide made sure she felt safe, and always took the extra time to make sure she was comfortable by allowing her to paddle or sit neutrally on the raft when she felt comfortable. This company is run so well, with snacks at the end and in between runs. I have to give a shoutout to our guide CARLOS, who literally MADE the trip. He was SO friendly, funny, and just an all around great team member. He let us 'push some boundaries' and everyone on board agreed that he made the trip from a 4 star review to a 5 star. :D Thanks guys! I can't wait to take MY side of the family next time! Cheers!

From start to finish this was a top class experience. Exciting, but never frightening or risky. The hardest thing about this was not missing the turn off to the base, about 40 minutes out of Lake Louise Village – miss it and you will find yourself stuck forever on the road to Golden with few places to run back. Once here they kit you out with the wetsuit, helmet, warm clothing and have a great range of souvenirs and branded clothing. The safety briefings were clear, and excellent, though the emphasis on the very rare things that could go wrong did scare a few people. What was clear though was they never put profit ahead of safety and their customers, and made it very clear anyone who wanted to back out, even at the last second, could do so. The ride itself was superb – some gentle rapids to start with, then a stop mid ride before the big ones. But even these were never scary, just great fun. We never got cold, even when waves washed over the raft. An essential Rockies experience – do it!

I booked this activity on behalf of my friend visiting from the UK. This is his review. Lost $260.

‘I had the worse experience in terms of customer service/satisfaction. I was supposed to go for rafting today but because of an accident on the highway we got stuck in the traffic jam literally 12 min drive before the actual site and waited for an hour and half till we got to know that there is a 7 hr delay because of multiple fatalities. (Trans-Canada Highway- 2nd July 2022) We could not inform the rafting place because neither us nor anyone had any signal/service. Eventually we had to head back and the minute we got our service back, I phoned up the service and informed them about the situation. The person on the other side told me that they will have a word with the boss and will get back to me with an answer. I waited for 3 hrs and then called back to check what’s going on. I was told that nothing can be done now as it’s neither their fault nor ours. I do understand the situation but what about customer service and satisfaction. I flew all the way from the UK for my holiday and all I get in return is a nonchalant ‘Cant do anything’ from the person who is running this business. I mean not even a voucher which can be used in a year’s time or something if you are not going to refund the amount. I’m highly disappointed with the customer service and would never recommend this to anyone not because of the adventure but because of the indifferent attitude towards the customer. We booked this activity only after reviewing all the good reviews but my personal experience with all the indifferent attitude is not acceptable. It’s a shame that you treated your tourist with such an attitude. The person who was on the phone is lovely and very sweet as she did understand my frustration and apologised several times. I’m hot under the collar with the boss who actually told her to just shrug the shoulders on their behalf to disappoint customers. (Order confirmation...

Last week I had the pleasure of going rafting with Wild Water Adventures in the breathtaking Kicking Horse River, located in Yoho National Park. This experience was nothing short of exhilarating and truly memorable.

From the moment we arrived, the staff's friendliness and professionalism stood out. They were not only knowledgeable and skilled but also incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic, which immediately set the tone for an exciting adventure. Their passion for rafting and the natural beauty of the area was contagious, making us feel both safe and thrilled about the journey ahead.

The tour itself was packed with excitement. The Kicking Horse River offers a variety of rapids that kept our adrenaline pumping from start to finish. The guides expertly navigated us through the challenging waters, ensuring we had the most thrilling and enjoyable experience possible. Their expertise and encouragement made the entire trip even more enjoyable, and their stories about the area added a unique touch to the adventure.

Having previously gone rafting in Jasper, I can confidently say that this experience with Wild Water Adventures was completely different and equally impressive. The scenery of Yoho National Park, combined with the dynamic rapids of the Kicking Horse River, created a distinct and captivating adventure that I will cherish for a long time.

Every penny spent on this adventure was well worth it. Wild Water Adventures provided an unforgettable rafting experience that was both exciting and enriching. If you're looking for a thrilling and unique way to explore the natural beauty of Yoho National Park, I highly recommend booking a tour with Wild Water Adventures. You won't be...

Whitewater Rafting was the highlight of our quick trip to the Rockies! It was an awesome and thrilling experience for me at the age of 63 with health issues. I was hesitant when signing up for it since I have mobility issues and was unsure if I was physically capable. However, after reviewing all of the valuable information on the website, I decided to jump at the opportunity to go with my 19 yr old daughter.

As always, Mother Nature delivered splendidly despite the smoke and haze in the mountains from the BC wildfires. It was a lovely 45 minute drive from our accommodations in Lake Louise to the Wild Water base camp. However, the exclusive scenery along the Kicking Horse River is an experience like none other!

All of the guides at Wild Water Adventures Inc. were amazing! They were totally organized and gave a warm and informative welcome to ease any anxiety or answer questions that we had. Safety was clearly a main priority and our individual needs were attended to before we were even aware we required assistance.

Our guide on the river was Mike. He was like a modern day Viking Voyager - adventuresome, inquisitive, strong, willing to take challenges, caring and gave 100% in assisting you in any situation that required his help. Mike was alert and reliable to his clients as well as his team. As we became knowledgeable of our adventure and each other, Mike was eager to entertain us with his quick wit and enthusiasm.

Thank you Mike and Team for keeping us safe and giving us a thrilling and memorable ride with...
