Not spectacular, but great little sandy beach nonetheless. Public access is located in a semi-bay where the water tends to be slightly cooler compared to the rest of the lake, especially the provincial beach. No dogs allowed. Parking is sparse, so be early. Mosquitos are abundant. Daily visits only. Services are virtually non-existent.

a lovely beach located along Kootenay lake. open to the public, but yet feels secluded and private. great sandy beach area, and plenty of sun for a summer holiday. a few meters up the road from the beach's entrance is a "rest area", with plenty of parking - easy to walk to the bech... can't wait to go back for another picnic!!

Great beach! Beautiful scenery. A great place to take the family for the day. Bring some shade, a blanket, sunscreen, bug spray, and snacks. The outhouses by the parking are kinda gross and the doors don't shut properly. Wouldn't let a child go in there by themselves.

It's an extra slice of paradise in the already angelic Creston Valley. Just a short jaunt north of the Town of Creston, on hwy 3A, this local hotspot has easy access to a far reaching golden sand beach with a large outcropping of rocks for kids to jump off and into the refreshing waters of Kootenay Lake! Public parking and outhouses are free for beach goers. Fun in the sun awaits family and friends at...
