This trail was marked as being closed and there appears to be a lot of needed repairs being done on the boardwalk. There were a few small sections missing. We went ahead anyway and really enjoyed it, but obviously it's a "use at own risk" situation. It goes right to the river's edge where we sat for a while and enjoyed, although the sounds and smells of the truck and train brakes were ever-present. But honestly, it was my favourite...

This is one of the best boardwalks along this highway. Nice view of the river and a beautiful little creek running through it. Clean bathrooms, big open parking lot for trailers or RV’s to swing in. Nice easy hike, doesn’t take very long. This makes it a nice short break if passing though and want to stretch your legs. Benches and picnic tables make it a nice place to stop for a highway snack if you are...

Do not add this to your itinerary. I wish they would have signs at the beginning that the trail was closed…. You can only go so far down the trail and then the trail is blocked off. I wish the skunk cabbage was pointed out…. Unless you can’t see it on the beginning portion of the path.

Nice picnic tables and view of your looking for a picnic spot but the trail was...

Loved it. It's a twenty to thirty minutes walk on nice board trails. Really well maintained. Great for stroller and maybe wheelchairs as there were no stairs. Interesting skunk cabbages along the way. It would flower in the Spring. It's a bit chilly on a summer morning so bring a jacket for your little ones.

We found this trail on the way to Revelstoke. This is beautiful boardwalk but half of it was broken so that part was closed. You can notice big leaves of skunk cabbage all around the boardwalk . These smell like somewhat like fenugreek leaves. There is a big shed for picnics with tables and clean washrooms.
