If so, 📌save this post for your Fall planning and tag who you want to take with you! 🥰🍂💛 Although British Columbia is known for being lush and green throughout the year, in the Fall time the forests and mountains transform with some of the most magical Fall colours! 🍂✨ The change of seasons can happen quickly out here, and although it can be overwhelming trying to plan adventures this time of year, if you dive in knowing which areas to find the best colours it can make this season that much more magical! ✨ So if you’re looking to add some trails to your Fall adventure list this season, here are some places I think you should check out: 🍂Chilliwack River Valley - Goat Ridge - Lindeman Lake - Elk Mountain - Chilliwack Lake 🍂 Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area - Zoa Peak Trail - Flatiron Peak - Needle Peak - Yak Peak 🍂 Golden Ears Provincial Park - Alder Flats - Mike Falls Trail - Lower Gold Creek Falls Trail - Spirea Nature Trail 🍂 E. C. Manning Park - Frosty Mountain - Lightning Lake 🍂 The Fraser Canyon - Alexandra Suspension Bridge - Drive along Highway 1 There are so many more beautiful trails and areas in British Columbia for you to explore and enjoy the Fall colours, but I hope that with this list you can get out there and embrace some of the Fall magic yourself! And who knows, you might just stumble across some hidden gems of your own along the way! 🥰🍂✨ Which area do you want to explore this season? . ⭐️ Want featured? The backcountry options makes for countless opportunities for exercise and exploration in the Recreation Area. We spent two days on Nak Peak and the Needle and can't wait to return. Backcountry ski touring was excellent and accessible from the various exits from the highway.

Wow!!! Great little rest area and the information they put up about the different trips you can do around the province. Wish I seen six months ago. Spent six months up and down the Ogangan valley.. Next summer! Oh my ya make sure you bring water, can't drink the water.

This place is an experience that we all should obtain especially in the winter months. Now mind you, if you are new to driving, please dont try this place in winter conditions. There is a reason why they nick named this place "Highway Thru Hell" but this Highway Thru Hell has some beautiful hiking trails, wonderful stop arounds and absolutely gorgeous views especially if it snowed and the sky clear and blue WOW just WOW 🙆‍♂️❤️

I have driven this highway in all of the seasons but my favourite time would have to be in Spring, the Fall and in the Winter seasons. If you are gonna try this place in winter please be prepared, and ready for all conditions and situations and winter tires are mandatory.

If you like hiking then you will find plenty of hiking trails here and camping opportunities both backcountry and campgrounds in the several provincial parks here.

PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE AND FOLLOW ALL FIRE REGULATIONS AND ADVISORIES IN THE FIRE SEASONS AND ALL...

Needle peak is an extraordinary hike with summit 360 views of the mountains from interior to baker, to the backside of golden ears. It is relatively easy and short, even for those out of shape. Beware those who are inexperienced hikers that the route to the top is mostly unmarked and has some mild exposure. Avoid chossy rocks, as you should not need to pass through these sections. Near the top you cut through a crack in the mountain from north to south. For those who find the summit to needle peak is too frightening or confusing, or for those who are inexperienced or have kids, I recommend summiting flatiron peak next over instead as it has almost no technical requirements, is safer, and requires less physical effort, yet has almost the same views. This has to be one of the shortest but most rewarding...

Well worth the two to three hour hike to the unofficial campsite beside a small lake which is perfect for a swim after hiking. The trail starts at the road, apparently up to a few years ago you could drive up the spur road to the trail head but the 3 km road is not vehicle friendly, don't even attempt it, there were mudslides and washouts which have officially deactivated the road. The hike up to the lake is steep and challenging but a dirt trail. There are trails to Jim Kelly and...
