Peter’s U-Pick Cherry farm in Vernon is an absolute gem for cherry lovers! The orchard is beautifully maintained, with rows of lush, ripe cherry trees ready for picking. It’s such a fun and relaxing experience to wander through the trees, handpicking the freshest, juiciest cherries right off the branches.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share tips on the best cherries to pick. The farm has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, making it a perfect outing for kids and adults alike. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the cherries is exceptional—sweet, plump, and bursting with flavor.

Plus, the farm’s picturesque setting makes it a great spot for photos and spending a peaceful day outdoors. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or solo, Peter’s U-Pick Cherry is a delightful experience and a great way to support local growers. Highly recommend stopping by during...

My wife, daughters and I decided to visit Peter's Upick on August 12th 2025 as we were on a camping trip through the Shuswap.

The older gentleman who assisted us was very sweet and helpful. He provided us with the suggestion of picking staccato cherries as they would last longer into our camping trip before spoiling with also letting us know which row and section to find the best cherries to pick. We had a blast competing for who could pick the "perfect" cherry as we all foraged with buckets & a ladder in tow.

The price was fantastic for the amount and quality you get and everyone is very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Peters Upick for a family trip or even a solo outing for some...

This was our second time at Peter's Upick. We had such a wonderful time our first go with the most delicious Rainier cherries... that my wife spent her birthday here today! Lucky for us, peaches opened and we brought home quite a haul! We also grabbed a bag of cherry wood smoker chips.

The weather was gloomy with the wildfires, but the service and friendliness at Peter's totally made up for it! We grabbed plums, cherries, and peaches. We had three families at the orchard and the kids had so much fun.

When Peter's found out it was my wife's birthday, he threw in a little birthday gift of apple chips!

We are always blown away and are probably going to visit...

We had a very fun experience at Peter’s U-Pick! It’s a beautiful farm with plenty of fruit to pick, including cherries, peaches, and sugar plums. We visited near the end of July, and noticed that the cherries were a bit past their prime, so if you’re planning to pick cherries, it’s best to come earlier in July. However, the peaches and sugar plums were excellent very sweet and juicy! The staff were super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting with family or just looking to enjoy fresh fruit straight from the tree, this is a great spot to stop by in Vernon. Would definitely come back!
