Ive lived in shawnigan for a brief time now. About 5 months or so. Im moving shortly, but only to get closer to the ocean. Quite a charming place. Lots of young families. Koksilah provincial park is definitely worth hitting up, and if you want a great light breakfast head to omas bakery, then grab a coffee at the shawnigan lake coffee house. My family has a cabin up on Shawnigan Lake and it is a beautiful lake with a friendly community. Mason's is a nearby convenience store that has good snacks, ice cream, and food. There is also a beach near Mason's and a marina or two. There is also a ski course for advanced water skiers. In winter the water can get very...
