Had the chance to visit Culmina Family Estate Winery today with a visitor. I am a " local " and have basically visited all the wineries in the South Okanagan over the 7 years I have lived here. There were a few positives about this experience. The winery and tasting room are in a beautiful setting affording terrific views of the Okanagan River as it flows into Osoyoos Lake, and the valley itself The staff were friendly, welcoming and well informed. Major disclaimer- I did not taste the 5 wines offered as I was the designated driver so have to rely on my friend's impressions Of the five he tasted he thought the Chardonnay was pretty good. He thought the rest were okay. He has extensive experience with the local wines, having also visited all the South Okanagan wineries over the years. Our major disappointments are somewhat at odd with other reviews. We weren't there to listen to the very lengthy family history of the winery and its previous and current owners, which, when combined with the wine tasting, took the better part of 45 minutes. We could have read that in a brochure if we wanted to. My friend was there to taste the wine, and, perhaps, learn a little about the wines themselves. The tasting fee was $10 PLUS TAX, which is the first time I have had the winery add tax to the tasting fee. Five dollars ( plus tax ?) would have been refunded if a purchase had been made. I am sure the fee is taxable, but other wineries appear to absorb the cost, if they even have a tasting fee. We also found the wines on the pricey side especially compared to those of other local wineries which my friend thought were comparable. All in all we were both disappointed with this wine tasting experience, and certainly won't be...

My wife and I love Culmina wines. Mostly, we buy the R&D blend, its the easiest to find in Vancouver. We visited the winery in June 2025. The weather was beautiful, the building is super cute, open, bright and the patio faces the vineyards. My wife actually cried a bit when we sat down for wine tasting. A very friendly and polite gentleman helped us with the wine selection, we were served warm bread to go with the wines. Of course we bought a few bottles. 10/10 experience. One tiny note about it, when we talked to the gentleman who served us, of course we mentioned that we love the brand, always have one bottle of Culmina at home, the R&D red blend, to which he made a funny face and said its the cheapest and most simple winr they have. Coming from the service industry, I would've preferred if this comment was kept for himself, seeing how excited and happy my wife was to be there. She kind of mentioned later on but we quickly forgot about heading to...

Went here last weekend and loved our tasting! It was $20 per person, waived with purchase. This winery is on the younger side, but it’s a highly skilled team, with such an interesting history. They are the highest altitude winery and it makes the vineyard so interesting to look at. The outdoor covered patio was really lovely and my favourite part was the incredible gardens surrounding the reception building. Just an overall scenic winery. We ended up buying a case of Hypothesis and we’re excited to enjoy this wine for special occasions. This is not a wine you will find in stores, so highly recommend a stop here! Reservation highly...

This winery has some pretty amazing grounds and scenary. Amazing patio and views are second to none. The wine was approx 28 to 30 a bottle. The staff is professional and provides a backstorey of the history of the winery which is fairly new in itself. The owner actually graced us wland chatted for a while which I thought was amazing because I'm sure he's a busy guy. He's been in the wine industry a long time. This was a great experience overall. The wine was very well done as well. Certainly a place to stop on your tour.

I ventured down to Oliver to come check out Culmina Wines. Beautiful tasting paired with a beautiful view. Delicious wines and a rosé magnum😍 Yes please! If you’re in the Oliver area check out their wines 🥂 $20 for the tasting and waived if you purchase $50+ of wine, easily done! Definitely will be back for more of these great wines, loved loved loved the Blanc de Franc, a white Cabernet Franc and great price points to boot. Thanks for the great experience. #cheers
